Mumbai Becomes First Indian City With More Than 10,000 Cases

In its daily COVID-19 bulletin, Maharashtra reported 1233 new cases and 34 new deaths as the state's number of cases increased to 16758 and deaths increased to 651. 

Maharashtra has conducted over 1,90,000 tests and over 3000 people have recovered in the state. 

Mumbai, the state's capital became the first city to report over 10 thousand cases with over 481 deaths.
