Karnataka Government Announces Relief Package

The Karnataka Government has announced a relief package for workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Rs. 5,000 will be paid to washermen, barbers, auto and taxi drivers while construction workers will get an additional Rs 3,000 as compensation. Handloom workers will receive Rs. 2,000 while floriculturists will receive Rs. 25,000 per hectare.
