999 New Cases, 37 New Deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported 999 new cases and 37 new deaths in the country taking the total number of cases to 19, 984 and deaths to 640. 

Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan witnessed a spike in their number of deaths. 

Maharashtra with 5218 cases is the state with the cases followed by Gujarat with 2178 cases.
