BOOM UP Elections Trail: Will Congress 'Import' Pardeep Kumar Help BJP In Gangoh?

In 2012 Gangoh elected INC candidate, Pardeep Kumar to power. This time Pardeep Kumar is contesting again, but as a BJP candidate.

Gangoh is part of Sahranpur district and one of the seven assembly constituencies in Sahranpur (Lok Sabha constituency). First assembly election in this assembly constituency was conducted in 2012 after the constituency came into existence in the year 2008 as a result of the "Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 2008", the constituency was assigned identification number as 7. In 2012 the constituency elected INC candidate, Pardeep Kumar to power. This time Pardeep Kumar is contesting again, but as a BJP candidate. He hopes to win once again based on key development works undertaken by him over the last 5 years.

 

MLA: Pardeep Kumar (BJP)

 

Education: Post Graduate from Maharaj Singh College, Sahranpur in 1995

 

Key rival candidates: Nauman Masood (INC), Inder Sain (SP) & Rajnesh Chauhan (RLD)

 

MLA claim: Have made roads, water tanks and power stations. He says that water shortage is a major issue along with issues such as poor law and order and electricity. He claims to have been raising the issue in the Assembly and will contine to do so.
