India To Export COVID- 19 Vaccine To Neighbouring Countries

India is set to export doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to Bhutan, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar and Seychelles will begin from 20 January 2021.

In respect of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Mauritius, we are awaiting their confirmation of necessary regulatory clearances. 

This aligns with India's goals to fight this pandemic, the Ministry of External Affairs stated in a press release. 

The government will ensure that the domestic manufacturers will have adequate stocks to meet domestic requirements while supplying abroad.
