'Leave Ukraine At The Earliest': India's Advisory To Citizens Amid Fresh Strikes By Russia
The Embassy of India in Kyiv on Wednesday issued an advisory asking Indians not to travel to Ukraine.
The advisory also asked Indian present in the country to leave as soon as possible.
"The Indian citizens, including students, currently in Ukraine are advised to leave Ukraine at the earliest by available means," the advisory issued in Kyiv read.
This comes as Russian president Vladimir Putin declared martial law in the four Ukrainian regions Moscow claims it has annexed. Meanwhile, as Russia continued to target Ukraine's energy centres, authorities in the country asked citizens to charge devices as it anticipated power cuts.
Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky said 30% of Ukraine’s power stations had been destroyed by Russian missile strikes, causing massive blackouts across the country.
