Disney Replies Back To Peter Dinklage's Criticism Of Snow White Remake

Peter Dinklage recently shared his viewpoint of Disney's upcoming remake of the 1937 film Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. The live-action film would feature West Side Story breakout Rachel Zegler.
Sharing his viewpoint in the January 24 episode of Marc Maron's WTF podcast, Dinklage mentions how Disney's "very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White".
But the Game Of Thrones famed actor hits back at the "backward" representation of "seven dwarfs living in a cave together". He continued, saying "Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I’m not loud enough.”
A Disney spokesperson responded to Dinklage's criticism, stating “To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community."
The spokesperson continued to state that Disney "looks forward to sharing more as the film heads into production after a lengthy development period". while speaking to The Hollywood reporter.
Dinklage has got a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia. The actor is not involved with Disney's upcoming project.
