Donald Trump Suggested Shooting At BLM Protestors And Launching Missiles Against Mexico, Reveals Former Defense Secretary
Donald Trump's former Secretary of Defense has revealed that the former US President suggested bombing Mexico and shooting protestors among other claims.
In his upcoming book, A Sacred Oath: Memoirs of a Defense Secretary in Extraordinary Times, Esper claims that he blocked many outlandish ideas proposed by Trump and his aides.
Esper claimed that Trump proposed launching "missiles into Mexico to destroy the drug labs" while his aide Stephen Miller suggested sending 250,000 troops to the Mexico border.
Esper also claims that Miller suggested beheading Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, an ISIS leader, who was killed by the US, and dipping the head in pig's blood and parading it as a warning for terrorists. Miller denied the claim calling Esper a "moron".
According to Esper, in the aftermath of George Floyd's death and the subsequent protests, Trump asked in a meeting, "Can't you just shoot them (protestors)? Just shoot them in the legs or something".
At the same meeting, Trump also called his advisors including VP Mike Pence "fucking losers". "Trump shouted, 'None of you have any backbone to stand up to the violence,' and suggested we were fine with people 'burning down our cities'," Esper writes.
