'Hung Me From 15th Floor Balcony': Yuzvendra Chahal's Shocking Claim About 'Drunk MI Player'
Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal made shocking revelations of being dangled from a 15th floor balcony by a 'drunk' player of Mumbai Indians team. While speaking about the incident from 2013, Chahal did not name the player.
While speaking in a video posted by Rajasthan Royals, Chahal mentioned the incident from 2013 when the team had a get-together after match in Bengaluru.
"There was a player who was very drunk, I will not take his name. He was very drunk; he was looking at me and he just called me. He took me outside and he dangled me from the balcony," Chahal said.
Chahal said that other people around came to his rescue and got the situation under control. "I kind of fainted. They gave me water, then I realised how responsible you should be if you go out anywhere," he said while recalling the narrow escape.
In another episode of being bullied by seniors, he said he was once tied, gagged, and forgotten the whole night by Australian players Andrew Symonds and James Franklin. This incident happened in 2011 in Chennai when the players were in a hotel after winning Champions League.
Franklin and Symonds tied his hands and legs and told him ‘now you have to open’. The duo taped his mouth and then 'forgot' about him. He was freed by a cleaner the next morning, much after the party ended.
