Six Feared Dead After Two Fighter Planes Collide During Airshow In US
Two fighter planes collided and crashed mid-air during an airshow in the US on Saturday.
The visuals of the accident were captured and shared on social media by spectators who were there to watch the show.
The collision happened between B-17 bomber, a World War II-era plane, and Bell P-63 Kingcobra. Visuals showed the two jets crashing into pieces and falling on the ground in a ball of fire.
According to reports, six people are feared dead in the accident.
Soon after the crash, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson said details of the incident "unknown or unconfirmed". "The National Transportation Safety Board has taken command of the crash scene with Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire-Rescue continuing to provide support," he tweeted.
