To Parag Agrawal's Tweet On Spam Accounts, Elon Musk Has To Say This
Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal on Monday posted a long thread on how spam accounts are a menace for actual Twitter users and the micrblogging site as well.
"We suspend over half a million spam accounts every day, usually before any of you even see them on Twitter," Agrawal wrote adding that millions of accounts are locked each week on suspicion of being spam.
"Have you tried just calling them?" Musk wrote as Agrawal explained Twitter's process of "human review" of potential spam.
While Musk has been known for cryptic tweets, his latest reaction comes amid chatter of his $44 billion takeover of Twitter. The deal for now has been put on hold.
Last week, Musk said he favoured lifting the ban on Donald Trump, who was banned from the microblogging website in January 2021 after US Capitol riots.
