AI Got Karsh Kale Married To Suzanne Vega
Indian-American music director Karsh Kale recently shared a hilarious yet concerning Instagram post after his daughter found a Gemini AI summary claiming he married American folk singer Suzanne Vega in 2012 and had a child named Wilow.
Kale laughed it off but warned about the dangers of misinformation. “As funny a mistake as this is, it shows how misguiding AI can be… Please be warned, AI is gonna mess up the world. My wife Suzanne Vega agrees,” he joked.
Karsh Kale is an Indian-American musician, composer, and producer known for blending Indian classical music with electronic, rock, and ambient sounds. He has composed for films like Gully Boy and Choked. In spite of his public career, Kale keeps his personal life largely private and away from the internet.
On the other hand, Suzanne Vega is an acclaimed American singer-songwriter celebrated for her folk-inspired music and poetic lyrics. She married to her second husband, Paul Mills in 2006. She rose to fame in mid-1980s with hits like “Luka” and “Marlene on the Wall.” She and Karsh Kale are not married and have never collaborated, making the AI’s claim bizarre.
A joint study by the European Broadcasting Union and BBC found major flaws in popular AI assistants, with Google’s Gemini performing the worst. Out of 3,000 analyzed responses, 45% contained major errors, and Gemini showed inaccuracies in 76% of its answers—twice as many as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Perplexity.
