Political Strategist Prashant Kishor Drops Hints At Launching Own Political Party
A week after declining the Congress' offer to join the party, political strategist Prashant Kishor has hinted at forming his own political party.
"My quest to be a meaningful participant in democracy & help shape pro-people policy led to a 10yr roller-coaster ride! As I turn the page, time to go to the Real Masters, THE PEOPLE,to better understand the issues & the path to "जन सुराज"-Peoples Good Governance," Kishor tweeted adding that it will begin in Bihar.
Kishor had joined the JD(U) in 2018 and served as its first and only national vice-president before falling out with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and leaving the party in 2020.
Kishor's Jan Suraj will last for three days where he will be meeting civil society members including doctors, teachers and activists according to an Indian Express report.
