"I felt anxiety for 10-12 years and had many sleepless nights before a game. Later on I started accepting that it was part of my preparation," Tendulkar revealed in 2021.
"I have gone through a phase in my career where it was the end of the world. I just didn't know what to do, what to say to anyone, how to speak, how to communicate," Kohli said revealing his troubles with mental demons after a difficult tour of England in 2014.

One fine day, this dream was achieved but it created a very large void in my life. Former India pacer Praveen Kumar revealed that he had been diagnosed with depression and loneliness after his retirement and even contemplated suicide only to not go through with it.
