Chaos erupted in the Bihar Assembly on March 23 as police were brought in to evict opposition members.
The opposition led by the RJD are protesting against the new Bihar Special Armed Police Bill, 2021.
The Bill was passed by the assembly late in the evening even as the opposition staged a walkout and protested outside the assembly.
Visuals showed MLAs being hit and dragged away by police forces.
PTI reported that RJD and CPI(M) MLAs fell unconscious outside the assembly while a few MLAs alleged being beaten up by the ruling JDU-BJP government.
The Bihar Special Armed Police Bill, 2021 will give the Special Armed Police more power to conduct searches and arrests without producing a warrant.
