Photo Stories: Narendra Modi Addresses The Aligarh Muslim University On Its Centenary Celebrations

Narendra Modi spoke to the students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on December 22, 2020.

It was on the occasion of AMU completing its 100th year.

It was in the pre-independence time that Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College became Aligarh Muslim University. It was inaugurated as a university on December 17, 1920.

Speaking on the occasion, Modi had an interesting extra-circular task for the students.

He suggested that they research lesser-known freedom fighters.

And also suggested students help with the conversion of ancient manuscripts to digital formats.
